What do you do when you are bored? What do you want adults to know? When would you time travel to?
**These are student's raw answers. I let them answer honestly without judgement. I want to know what they are really thinking and feeling.** The most interesting topic of this podcast is what they would like adults to know about them. Students are winding down towards the end of the school year, they had testing on the day we recorded, they all seem to be mentally tired and ready for the summer! As parents we expect a lot out of our kids... and sometimes we need a reminder how young they are. I adore getting to chat with these students, peaking inside their minds and connecting with them. Our next podcast episode will be our last for the year. The students have prepared questions to interview Dr. Rodriguez, our wonderful principal.

Being a good friend, invent a holiday, accomplishments, future career ideas
** We are still experimenting on where to hold the mics. The new mic I brought in was not working so we used our original lapel mics. The students get very excited and love to talk close to the mic. This is all a learning experience. ** In this episode the students share their ideas and opinions about what does it mean to be a good friend, if they invented a holiday what would it be and how would it be celebrated, something they are proud of, and what they would like to do in life either as a career or want to experience, when they are adults.
