Ep. 004: Tony Castricone, Washington Huskies
Tony Castricone's "dream job" commands human connection and endless hours of preparation to be effective on air. How he got here: perseverance, travel across 40 states, and a guitar.
Roxy Bernstein, a human jackknife of play-by-play announcing, is so versatile that it's been suggested he can pick up a mic for any sport and call it with precision. He joined Mike Benton and shares his play-calling philosophy, spotting board advancements with technology, a travel horror story, and why being accused of "bias" by both fan bases listening to the same game is a good thing.
