<p dir="ltr">Hello from Coffs Harbour / Garlambirla! As First Nations and multicultural women gathered to listen, share and connect on Gumbaynggirr Country, our Composer in Residence, Elizabeth Jigalin, transformed the storytelling into a musical world.</p> <p dir="ltr">Check in to the Creative + Connected workshop at The Gallery, Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance, and find out what happens when women come together and create. </p> <p dir="ltr">Composer and sound artist Elizabeth Jigalin. Workshop participants: Pamela, Esther, Carmel, Kirsty, Kirra, Michelle, Lucy, Lilian, Mohadese, Media Badal Ibraheem Khalaf, Nofa, Alice, Shamy, Shirin, Heather, Judith, Guli, Naomi, Gawri, Caty, Moriah, Olivia, Aisho, Charity. A collaboration between Voices of Women Artistic Director Lliane Clarke, Co-facilitator and translator Mizgeen Barakat and Naomi Steinborner, All One Under the Sun and STARTTS, Janan Greenwood and the crew at Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance, TAFE NSW Macksville and Kempsey teacher Heather Clarke and Lillian Hong from TAFE NSW Mid North Coast Multicultural Network. This Multicultural Grassroots Initiative received grant funding from the Australian Government and support from the Carla Zampatti Foundation.</p> <p> </p>
