Volunteer Field Notes is a podcast by Go Help Now, a non-profit dedicated to helping volunteers find ways to help during a humanitarian and disaster relief. We interview real life volunteers who jump in and go help. We hope by sharing their story, we can inspire you to find ways to use your skills to volunteer in times of need.
I catch up with Jordi, a Washingtonian volunteer who served with JCC (Jewish Community Center) in Krakow, Poland in March 2023. JCC has had a presence in Krakow since 2008 providing support, care, and goods for people from all faiths. Currently the JCC in Krakow is serving Ukrainian refugees since the beginning of the war in 2022.
