<p>Het is precies een jaar geleden dat mijn chemotherapie gestart is. Hoe vind ik dat het nu zelf gaat? Ik blik met Sanne terug op het afgelopen jaar, Thijs is 1 jaar geworden en hoe kijk ik naar de toekomst.</p>

<p>Kanker kan je wel een 'life changing event' noemen. Het is iets wat je leven enorm veranderd. Vader worden van Thijs was ook zo’n ‘event’, dus ik had er in een zeer korte periode twee bovenop op elkaar. Hoe was dat voor mij? Wat voor effect heeft dat gehad en wat heeft dit aan mijn leven permanent veranderd? Old vs. New.</p>

<p>Wat wil ik nu met mijn leven doen? Een vraag die regelmatig bij mij terugkomt sinds ik aan het herstellen ben van kanker. En dat is niet de enige levensvraag die speelt. Sinds ik ook mentaal aan het herstellen ben komen er allerlei levensvragen naar boven. Die liggen momenteel boven op mijn gedachtestapel. Hoe ik hiermee om ga, komt in deze aflevering naar voren.</p>
