Ep 16. Is Taking Iced Coffee to an Interview Unprofessional?
Is showing up to a job interview with an iced coffee in hand unprofessional? 👀
A recent viral reel sparked a whole debate online after an interviewer called out Gen Z candidates for walking into interviews like they’re running a casual errand, iced coffee in hand and everything.
A lot of people agreed with her. Others were like… is this really that serious?
In this episode of Wait, One More Thing!, we unpack the debate around the unspoken rules of professionalism that older generations grew up with, and whether those rules are changing as newer generations enter the workforce.
Are we simply redefining what professionalism looks like, or are we becoming too casual about things that actually matter? And then there’s the question nobody seems to be asking... is there a hint of privilege in this conversation?
Because professionalism can’t be a one-way street. If we’re judging candidates on how they show up, shouldn’t we also be talking about how interviewers treat candidates?
So where do you stand?Harmless habit or interview deal-breaker?

Ep 15. Wait, What Happened to Our Friendships? The Friendship Evolution No One Warned Us About
In this episode of Wait, One More Thing!, we’re talking about one of our favourite things to talk about. Friendships! ✨
Both of us, like pretty much every young person navigating life right now, have our own definitions and expectations of what it means to be a good friend. But as we grow older and life keeps changing around us, whether it’s changing cities, jobs, marital status, priorities, or responsibilities, our friendships change too. They evolve, just like we do.
When we were younger, friendships were often built around proximity and circumstance. School, college, tuition classes, and neighbourhoods were the spaces where we naturally met people our age and built our social circles. But adulthood changes the rules.
So, what do those old friendships mean to us now? What happens when our expectations of our friendships change?
Is growing apart from old friends inevitable? And is this evolution actually a bad thing?
We talk about all of this and more in an episode filled with personal anecdotes, things we’ve learnt along the way and our own experience of navigating and overcoming struggles within a close friendship.
Tune in to find out more!

Ep 14. Why Are We Scared of Archana Puran Singh? 🫣
Are we the only ones who are still scared of Archana Puran Singh from her Zee Horror Show days?! And Shabana Azmi from Makdi?!
In this episode of Wait, One More Thing, we talk about how deeply the movies, music and pop culture we grew up with have shaped the way we think, feel and perceive the world. From certain actors whose characters still terrify us, to some songs that transport us to a specific time in our lives, we unpack it all in this episode.
This one is full of lively conversations, a generous dose of nostalgia and a lot of fun stories about Bollywood, Indian cinema, 90s and 2000s movies, TV shows, horror movies and the pop culture that shaped our childhood.
Listen to or watch the whole thing and tell us in the comments about which movie, song or pop culture moment had the most impact on you.

Ep 13. Beyond ‘You Look Good’ | The Compliments That Actually Stick
In last week’s episode of Wait, One More Thing!, we spoke about backhanded compliments. This time, we’re flipping the script and talking about **compliments that have nothing to do with appearance**.
Why do we so often compliment people on how they look, while overlooking the qualities that make them who they are? What makes a compliment genuinely meaningful? And why are some compliments remembered years after they’re given?
We also talk about why accepting a compliment can sometimes feel surprisingly difficult. We also get into what it means to detach your sense of self from how you look to the world and why our approach to complimenting men can be a little different.
And because we love a good example, we’ve shared some great compliments that go beyond “you look good” and might just help you make someone’s day, make a genuine connection, or charm someone the right way.
What’s the best compliment you’ve received that had nothing to do with your appearance?
Watch or listen to this episode of Wait, One More Thing! and tell us what you think in the comments.

Ep 12. Is It a Compliment or an Insult? We Put Backhanded Compliments to the Test
“You look amazing in black. It really makes you look slimmer than you actually are”.
In this episode of Wait, One More Thing, we’re talking about the phenomenon of backhanded compliments, the kind of “compliments” that sound nice for the first two seconds and then somehow leave you questioning everything.
To make things even more interesting, we put different such comments to the test! Is it a compliment, a backhanded compliment, or just straight up an insult? Some of these might surprise you! Let us know in the comments if you’ve experienced a backhanded compliment like that too.

Ep 11. Is Delulu Really the Solulu? | Self-Belief, Abundance & Betting on Yourself
In this episode of Wait, One More Thing!, we’re talking about the internet’s favourite philosophy i.e. delulu is the solulu.
We’ve both realised that being relentlessly optimistic about our goals, careers, relationships and lives has often worked in our favour. Is it delusion? Is it an abundance mindset? Is it self-belief? Maybe it’s a little bit of all three.
We talk about betting on yourself, refusing to operate from a scarcity mindset, having the courage to believe that things can work out for you, manifestation and the times we’ve been confidently delusional about what we wanted.
Enjoy!

Ep 9. Are Bullies Just Insecure People?
Bullying is something most of us agree is wrong, yet it continues to exist in schools, workplaces, friendships, families, and across social media. Despite anti-bullying campaigns, greater awareness, and more conversations around mental health, bullying hasn't disappeared. It has simply changed forms.
In this episode of Wait, One More Thing!, we explore the psychology of bullying and ask an important question: Why do people bully others? Is bullying driven by insecurity, low empathy, a need for control, a desire for validation, narcissistic traits, or something else entirely?
Inspired by a candid conversation with Neha's father, an experienced family therapist, we discuss how unresolved pain, neglect, anger, and emotional wounds can sometimes shape harmful behaviour. We also talk about why difficult life experiences should never be used to excuse bullying or emotional abuse.
We turn the conversation inward too. Have we ever bullied someone without realizing it? What actually counts as bullying?

Ep 8. The "Nice Guy" Myth: Obsession, Backrooms & the Manosphere
What a year it's been for movie lovers. In this episode of Wait, One More Thing!, we dive into two of the year's most talked-about films, Obsession and Backrooms. While Jyotsna brings the perspective of a horror fan, Neha joins the conversation from a different angle, having followed the cultural conversation around them.As we unpack these stories, we find ourselves drawn to what we believe is the real horror at their core: male entitlement, insecurity, and the need for control. We discuss how obsession, the "nice guy" myth, and a lack of respect for consent shape the characters and why these themes feel so relevant beyond the screen. Our conversation doesn't stop with the films. We explore the pressures patriarchy places on every gender, and why many of the struggles men experience today are also rooted in patriarchal expectations. We ask what happens when harmful ideas about masculinity, relationships, and power go unchallenged. This isn't a movie review. It's a conversation about culture, psychology, relationships, and the stories we tell ourselves about love, entitlement, and identity.

Ep 7. What We Wish People Knew About Indie Dogs | Our Rescue Dog Story
In this episode of Wait, One More Thing!, we share the story of how our beloved Mowgli came into our lives. From being fostered by Jyotsna to eventually finding her forever home with Neha, it’s a journey that’s deeply personal and one we’ve always wanted to tell. Mowgli is an Indie, and through our own experiences, we’ve come to realise that Indie dogs still don’t receive the recognition, love, or representation they deserve in our country. While it’s encouraging to see more people advocating for adoption over buying pets, we also continue to see influential figures promoting breeds that simply aren’t suited to India’s climate or conditions. This episode is a conversation about rescue, adoption, responsible pet ownership, and treating all animals with the compassion they deserve. We hope it inspires you to look at Indie dogs through a different lens and, above all, to be a little kinder to the animals around you.

In this episode of Wait, One More Thing, we talk about birthdays, insecurities, our personal experiences and all the expectations that come every year. We also pondered over how these expectations change once you get into a relationship or get married.
