Please listen with care if any of these are triggering for you. </p> <p>In the first episode of Walk a Mile in Their Shoes, Simone, Megan, Daniel and Luke talk about what their life was like before coming face-to-face with gender inequity.</p> <p>Simone was a happy mum of three, thinking about re-entering the dating world again at 37.</p> <p>While she didn’t know the typical behaviour of someone in a relationship, she did know that something wasn’t sitting quite right in her new relationship.</p> <p>Megan is an award-winning journalist who dreamed of entering sports media since the tender age of eight.</p> <p>When Megan finally achieved her goal, things weren't as easy as she might have anticipated. She began to learn how a young female might be treated in a male-dominated industry.</p> <p>Luke and Daniel were happy boys who were loved by their family and friends.
