We are gonna look at the Hebrew, the Greek, the historical and cultural context of the Scripture.
My goal is to equip the saints of God for the work of the ministry, which will build up the body of Christ for some amazing purposes and safeguards. (Ephesians 4)

There is a consistent pattern laid out in Scripture.Repent and be forgiven, then the Lord will restore you.What has happened to western Christianity that we do not hear the first message Jesus preached...."repent for the kingdom of God is at hand!"Repentance has become a dirty word in many circles because it sounds "judgy" or it is not "seeker friendly" or it is blatantly ignored.God is treated like a magic genie granting wishes to all those who pray...but we have forgotten you can "pray amiss" (James 4:3). We have forgotten that Jesus never stopped preaching repentance, his mercy so often overshadows his first message.

Rebellion and Trust

Manifestations of the Spirit....but are they gifts too?
When I hear people talk about the "gifts" of the Spirit they have, I will often hear the manifestations of the Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12. Most Christians have a list that is an amalgam of various passages from Romans 12 to Ephesians 4. I suggest that this is a misnomer, and creates a bit of confusion when trying to explain the 5 fold ministry, or where overseers/elders fall into the mix. Who has the authority?How many gifts can I have? Do we see Jesus or the disciples with all the gifts from various lists? Today, we are diving into what I, and some others, call the manifestations of the Spirit but some also call them the "manifestional gifts". I hope this video gets you thinking and praying about how much the Spirit is involved in our ministries and personal walk.
