Welcome to Wallowing in the Shallows, the podcast that skirts the perilous drop-off of a deep dive into television and movies. We are two friends and academic nerds aspiring to become TV and movie geeks. We draw on our opinions and research to review television and movies, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Shakespeare. We think of it as sitting around the dinner table bs-ing with friends about what we watched that week. Wallowing in the Shallows can be reached at witstvpod@gmail.com. New Episodes on Thursdays or maybe Friday or Saturday.
WITS chats 'Off Campus' | Season 1 | created by Louisa Levy | 2026
Rebecca and Tori chat about the smash hit 'Off Campus,' created by Louisa Levy. We actually recorded this about a month ago right before the end of the quarter and before vacation, but it took some time to get it edited and published. Like the rest of the internet, we love it!

WITS chats 'The Mandalorian & Grogu' | dir. Jon Favreau | 2026
Rebecca and Tori are joined by Nancy and Jeff to chat their initial thoughts about Jon Favreau's, 'The Mandalorian & Grogu.' We recorded a few days after the movie was released, so we really do wallow in the shallows. We discuss our expectation and disappointments, but overall, we all enjoyed the movie.
