I wanted to complete the Coast to Coast - from Robin Hood Bay to St Bees barefoot. Unfortunately I underestimated quite how much this would pound my feet and my will pushed my feet far to hard and I couldn't heal them in time to do the second half. My act of self love was to notice my self inflicted suffering, stop, look after myself and support my best friends second half of the journey. <p>Rob Greene who is a yoga and meditation teacher that specialises in holistic ways of approaching PTSD. After serving as a us navy veteran for 6 years, he then had a successful career in tech brokering which forced him to face the trauma from his early childhood and his military service; so was diagnosed with PTSD 8 years after leaving the military and 3 suicide attempts later. </p> <p>He wanted to live life more simply so created a small eco village and lived off grid for a few years improving his own understanding of mental health where he experimented with DMT and other psychedelics. After a few years he ventured to India and studied yoga and meditation and then on to China where he studied martial arts and now spends his time trying to share what he’s learnt in the best way that he can to help others suffering with PTSD.</p> <p>The conversation is authentic loving and very powerful.
