「昨日まで、あんなに練習してきたのに……」 大勢の前に出て、顔を上げる。みんなの視線が突き刺さる。 口の中がパサパサに乾ききっている。喉が貼り付いて声が出てこない。 目の前の人に聞こえるんじゃないかと思うくらいに鼓動が大きな音を立てている。 「何かしゃべらなきゃ……」 そう思えば思うほど、喉は貼り付き、かすかな息の音が漏れるばかり。 みんなの表情がみるみるうちに不安そうになる。その視線がさらに私を追い詰める……。 人前で話すのって、本当にハードル高いですよね。 実は僕も極度のあがり症で、以前は人前恐怖症でした。 それが今ではザ・ニュースペーパーというコント集団で、500人～1,000人の前でお笑いの舞台をやっています。 実は「ほんのちょっとしたコツ」と「マインドセット」で、人前恐怖症は乗り越えられます。 僕の場合、その突破口は発声でも、構成でも、立ち居振る舞いでもなく、お笑いマインドでした。 あの時の自分にそれを教えてあげたいくらいです。そうすれば、もっと楽になれたのに……。 「もしかしたら、あの時の自分と同じような思いで苦しんでいる人がいるかもしれない」 もし、そんな方達に少しでも役に立てるのであれば……。 そんな思いで、ちょっとしたコツやメソッドを日常の話に絡めながら、お届け出来ればと思います。
