About Warriors of the Word, TN

Warriors of the Word TN Today I would like to welcome you to the first episode of Warriors of the Word TN. My name is Debi Kincheloe and I am excited to begin this journey with you. Many years ago an evangelist spoke over me and said that one day I would be able to reach a lot of people for Jesus. Due to technology, that time has now come. I would like to share with you the reason for this podcast. Warriors of the Word is a bold, Bible-centered podcast devoted to rightly dividing the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV) and equipping believers to stand firm in faith. In a world of confusion and compromise, we return to the unchanging authority of Scripture, teaching line upon line and precept upon precept. This podcast is for men and women who desire spiritual maturity, biblical clarity, and the courage to live out their faith without apology. Through sound doctrine, historical context, and Christ-centered theology, we explore the Scriptures deeply while keeping them practical for everyday life. Through the years as I have taught the Word, I have been told the same thing over and over – I don’t understand what I am reading. If you don’t understand what you are reading, then how can you apply it to your life. How can you live. This podcast aims to not only teach the Word, but to show others how to apply the Word to your daily life. We believe the Word of God is inspired, infallible, and powerful — sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Our mission is to strengthen the Body of Christ, call believers to holiness, and raise up true warriors who fight not with carnal weapons, but with truth, righteousness, and the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18). Next week we will be starting a deep dive into the names of God. The more we learn about God and His names, the more we encounter God. When we know who God is, everything changes. According to Toby Nam, “Fear is replaced with certainty. Anxiety becomes peace. Burdens become rest. The moment you truly know God; your life can never remain the same” As you study the names of God in the Bible, you will see that: God is personal, not distant; God is faithful in every season; God’s character never changes; God’s names can deepen your trust, worship, and prayers. In the Hebrew culture and tradition, a person’s name points to their calling and destiny. Through His names and His nature In the Bible, God is known by many names -Yahweh or Jehovah . Elohim (the God who brings order to chaos), Adonai (the God who frees you from control), El Shaddai, (the God who turns things around) Jehovah Jireh (the God who provides), Jehovah Rapha (the God who heals), Alpha and Omega (the beginning and the end), El Gibbor — The God Who Fights for You. He is Wonderful, Counselor, Prince of Peace. Just as knowing someone's name helps build a relationship, understanding God's names helps us know Him more intimately. Scripture teaches that those who know His name put their trust in Him. "Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You." — Psalm 9:10 (NIV) Knowing God's names helps us pray with confidence. We approach God based on who He has revealed Himself to be. Our prayers become rooted in His character rather than our emotions or circumstances. When facing challenges, remembering God's names reminds us of His promises and abilities. If you need provision, you can trust Jehovah Jireh. If you need peace, you can call upon Jehovah Shalom. His names remind us that God is sufficient for every circumstance. Stand firm. Study deeply. Live boldly. Be not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. Become a Warrior of the Word. warriorsofthewordtn@gmail.com

   Craving the Word

“Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” 1 Peter 2:1-3 KJV In these scriptures, Peter gives us 5 things to avoid. In Greek “laying aside” refers to a once and for all action that is complete. I Peter 2:1-3 instructs us to lay aside five things; Malice, all guile, hypocrisies, envies, and evil speaking. Malice includes all forms of wickedness and can include deceiving people. The word guile in Greek means to “catch with bait” and describes an underhanded and sly, crafty person who takes advantage of others. The word hypocrisy was used in the first century to refer to an actor behind a mask, pretending to be someone else. Envies include jealousy and spite. The word envy comes from a root word meaning “to wither’ or “to shrivel.” This tells us that envy will cause a believer’s walk with God to shrivel. Evil speaking in Greek literally means to “speak down,” and refers to defaming to talking lowly f people in front of other believers. The word sincere comes from the Greek word for guile but includes the Greek letter Alpha as a prefix, which negates the meaning of guile and changes the word to mean “unadulterated.” The idea is that our words and actions should bless others because we are growing in the knowledge of the Lord and being nourished by the word of God (v 2). In 1 Peter 2:3, Peter says “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby. Notice the word “desire” not obligation, desire. A newborn doesn’t need to be convinced. You don’t sit there arguing with the baby. “Hey, you need to eat.” No, that baby is hungry, and when it’s mealtime, that hunger is screaming, I want to eat. That’s the picture Peter is giving us. It’s not a believer forcing down a chapter out of guilt. It’s a believer craving the Word of God the way a baby craves to eat. Let me ask you a question: what happened to the hunger? Where did it go?“To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, and A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.” 1 Peter 2:4-8 KJV Peter describes Jesus as a "living stone"—rejected by human builders (the religious leaders who crucified Him), but chosen, valuable, and precious to God. He serves as the chief "cornerstone," the foundational piece that holds the entire spiritual building together.

   Love One Another

I Peter 1: 18-21 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with [a (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=I%20Peter%201%3A18-21&version=NKJV#fen-NKJV-30393a)]corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was [b (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=I%20Peter%201%3A18-21&version=NKJV#fen-NKJV-30395b)]manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. Corruptible – perishable Manifested – revealed “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a (unfeigned) pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.” I Peter 1:22-25 NKJV The full text of 1 Peter 1:22-25 highlights purification through obedience, sincere brotherly love, and the enduring nature of God's word compared to fading human life.

   Holy Forever

Why do we study the bible? We do not study the Bible just to get to know the Bible. We study the Bible that we might get to now Gao better. Too many earnest Bible students are content with outlines and explanations, and not really get to know God. It is good to now the Word of God, but this should help us better know the God of the Word. I Peter 1:15-16 – What does it mean to be holy? But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, ‘Be ye holy; for I am holy,’” (1 Peter 1:15-16 (https://www.biblestudytools.com/search/?t=niv&q=1pe+1:15-16)). What does it mean to be holy. According to Strong’s Concordance, the word translated “holy” means sacred, morally blameless, consecrated. God is looking for some people who are consecrated or set apart for His use. The original Hebrew (qādôsh) and Greek (hagios) words for holy mean to be "set apart" or separated from common use and consecrated to God. And He knows who those holy ones should be because He chose us “Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love” Ephesians 1:4 NASB1995 and called us to be holy for His purpose. “who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,” 2 Timothy 1:9 NASB1995

   A Still Small Voice

We are familiar with the story in the Hebrew Scriptures of how God spoke to the prophet Elijah. Awaiting the word of God, he lodged in a cave. “Then the Lord said: Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord; the Lord will pass by. There was a strong and violent wind rending the mountains and crushing rocks before the Lord — but the Lord was not in the wind; after the wind, an earthquake — but the Lord was not in the earthquake; after the earthquake, fire — but the Lord was not in the fire; after the fire, a light silent sound. When he heard this, Elijah hid his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave” (1 Kgs 19:11-13). Not in the wind or earthquake or fire, but in “the still small voice,” God spoke. I have seen the Lord move in rooms full of people, and I have seen Him meet someone in a quiet moment when nobody else knew what they were carrying. I have watched Him restore hope, call people back to Himself, and make a way when there seemed to be no way This gentle whisper stands in stark contrast to the clamorous phenomena of wind, earthquake, and fire. The expression denotes a quiet communication from God, emphasizing His personal, intimate presence rather than an overwhelming physical manifestation. This gentle voice underscores the unique and personal side of God’s character. Though God can demonstrate His might openly (as at Mount Carmel), He often chooses to communicate quietly, requiring careful, deliberate attention. That is how God revealed the word to the prophet Elijah, and how God most frequently speaks to us. There are so many voices around, crying for our attention, bombarding our senses. How can we discern or distinguish and identify the voice of God? I would encourage you to take moments of stillness. As powerful as God is his presence so often shows up in the most gentle, loving fashion. Like he did with Elijah he wants to meet you in your personal space. A hidden treasure in the significance of God appearing to Elijah in a gentle whisper is that God met with him one on one. Regardless of your situation, God cares. He is not too busy to meet with you. In fact, he invites you in. He wants to meet with you one on one and help you with your most pressing situation. Don’t worry he’s not coming with earthquakes and fire. He’s coming with gentle compassion because he loves you and cares for you and wants to meet you right where you are. Maybe you need that reminder today, too. The God who met you before has not changed. He knows what is on your heart right now. He is present in the prayers you have prayed for years, in the questions you are still holding, and in the ordinary days when you simply need strength to keep going. I am praying that you will recognize His nearness in a special way. Sometimes the most powerful prayer is when you say nothing and just listen to God. When individuals recognize God’s presence in a calm, subtle voice, it invites a personal relationship with the Creator. In behavioral and philosophical terms, learning to quiet external and internal distractions can open one’s heart to spiritual realities. Our response to the “still small voice” illustrates that lasting change often begins not in external fireworks but in the quiet transformation of the mind (Romans 12:2 (https://biblehub.com/romans/12-2.htm)).

   Do You Have Hope?

Is your hope really in Jesus? Do you know for certain that if you lost everything you have in this world, that you still have Him: that you have a home with Him in heaven, and a reward there with Him that is worth more than everything in this world put together? If you don't have this hope, you CAN have it. Jesus died to save YOU! Give your life to Him right now - and put your hope in Him!! I Peter 1:9-13 NKJV - (9) "Receiving the end of your faith - the salvation of your souls. (10 - 12) To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven -- things which angels desire to look into. (13) Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJC "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, ......." Matthew 25:13 AMPC "Watch therefore (give strict attention and be cautious and active), for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Spirit of Man will come."

   Believing Without Seeing

“to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,” ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Our inheritance is in heaven and is continually preserved or kept for safekeeping. The word inheritance comes from a word that means to be an heir. This inheritance will be revealed or unveiled, at the “last time” meaning at Christ’s return for the believers. The word "kept" (or guarded) is like a military garrison. It means God wraps His ultimate strength around believers like a protective shield. Your eternity depends on God's strength, not your own weak grip. It is a military term that describes how a soldier protects his charge. The verb tense shows continuous action and indicates that believers are under God’s perpetual, round-the-clock protection. believers love and trust Jesus Christ even though they have never seen Him physically, and this deep faith fills them with a profound, heavenly joy that words cannot fully describe. The believer’s faith is “tested by fire” through trials for a specific purpose: “These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. Peter asserts that trials serve to authenticate our faith by deepening it and strengthening our commitment to Jesus. True believers love and trust Jesus Christ even though they have never seen Him physically, and this deep faith fills them with a profound, heavenly joy that words cannot fully describe.

   A Living Hope

Welcome to Bible Study with me as we begin the study of I & 2 Peter – chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Before we begin, I would like to share with you how I study the Bible. It is very important that we learn to not only read the Bible but to study it to pull out the nuggets Jesus wants us to know. We may read the same passage over a period, and each encounter bring us to a new nugget. These nuggets appear as we are ready to receive them. I learn something new each time I read and study God’s Word. ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7 NKJV“ But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14:26 NKJV “giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” Colossians 1:12 NKJV I Peter 1:1-4

   David and Bathsheba

Story of David and Bathsheba The story of King David and Bathsheba (found in 2 Samuel 11-12) teaches us that sin snowballs quickly when unchecked, starting from a moment of complacency, leading to abuse of power, deception, and severe collateral damage to others, though it also demonstrates the power of true repentance and accountability. Even though God forgave David, real-life consequences still affected his family and kingdom. The consequences of the sin was not erased. His home would never be the same. We have to understand that forgiveness doesn’t always prevent the consequences of your sin. God did with David’s sin what he does with yours and mine – he puts it away. Assemble a meeting of three people – you, God, and your memory. Place the mistake/sin before the judgement seat of God. Let his condemn it, pardon it, and let God put it away. Its over with.

    Come and Dine

Scriptures used this week: I Samuel 20:18-34 I Samuel 20:42 Then Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace, since we have both sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘May the Lord be between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants, forever.’” So he arose and departed, and Jonathan went into the city.” II Samuel 9:1 Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake? And there was a servant of the house of Saul whose name was Ziba. So, when they had called him to David, the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” He said, “At your service!” Then the king said, “Is there not still someone of the house of Saul, to whom I may show the kindness of God?” And Ziba said to the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan who is lame in his feet.”” II Samuel 9:2-3 NKJV “So the king said to him, “ is he?” And Ziba said to the king, “Indeed he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar.” Then King David sent and brought him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar.” II Samuel 9:7. So, David said to him. Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your Father's sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually. John 21:9-12 COME AND DINE Jesus has a table spread Where the saints of God are fed, He invites His chosen people, “Come and dine”; With His manna He doth feed And supplies our every need: Oh, ’tis sweet to sup with Jesus all the time! Refrain: “Come and dine,” the Master calleth, “Come and dine”; You may feast at Jesus’ table all the time; He Who fed the multitude, turned the water into wine, To the hungry calleth now, “Come and dine.” The disciples came to land, Thus obeying Christ’s command, For the Master called unto them, “Come and dine”; There they found their heart’s desire, Bread and fish upon the fire; Thus He satisfies the hungry every time. Soon the Lamb will take His bride To be ever at His side, All the host of heaven will assembled be; Oh, ’twill be a glorious sight, All the saints in spotless white; And with Jesus they will feast eternally.

    Pick Up Your Slingshot

Welcome back to Warriors of the Word TN. I always look forward to this time when we can study the Word of God together. There is so much to learn as we take one step at a time. Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands” (1 Samuel 18:7 NKJV). So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth. So, David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. Therefore, David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.” I Samuel17:48-51NKJV “So it was, when they brought out those kings to Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the captains of the men of war who went with him, “Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings.” And they drew near and put their feet on their necks. Then Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”” Joshua 10:24-25 NKJV “You have also given me the necks of my enemies, so that I destroyed those who hated me.” Psalms 18:40 NKJV “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;” Ephesians 6:17 NKJV “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12NKJV

    Life of David

Hello, welcome back to another edition of Warriors of the Word. This is episode 5, and we are going to begin a study on the life of David, who was considered a man after God's own heart. And he is the only man in the Bible referred to as a man after God's own heart. In 1 Samuel 13, 14, in the New King James Version, It says, But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you. And in Acts 13, 22, And when he had removed him, he raised up for them David as king, he whom also he gave testimony and said, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will. Now, all of us want to ask the question, just what made David so special that God would say this about him? Was he perfect? No. Was it because he never made mistakes? Absolutely not. Was it because of his great leadership? Not exactly. His significance was not that he was perfect, but that he had a relationship with God. No matter what happened, he always turned around and repented. His faith in God set him apart from the others. Now, everyone that knows the story of David also knows that he had moments of weakness, made some very poor leadership decisions. But you know, God still didn't turn his back on him. God still loved him and still took care of him. Let me give you a scripture that backs this up. Jeremiah 17 10. I, the Lord, search the heart. I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. And David stood out from a lot of people because his heart was always pointed. towards God. Now, the life of David is a journey that every believer can relate to. And that's why I want us to take this journey of studying about his life to find out why he was considered to be a man after God's own heart. His story tells us that even the greatest leaders, the most powerful men, and the most beloved Figures of God. David had to learn patience just as we do because we learn that things are not in our time. Just as David had to learn, he had to wait for God. Look at Psalm 78, 70 through 72. He also chose David, his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds. From following the ewes that had young, he brought him to shepherd Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance. So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart and guided them by the skillness of his hands. He was learning the skills in the wilderness that would one day shape the destiny of an entire nation. So what did God do? He did what no one imagined. He issued a surprise invitation. to a nobody from Nowheresville. Now Nowheresville in this case was Bethlehem. It was a sleepy village that time had forgotten that was nestled in the foothills some six miles south of Jerusalem. And Samuel invited the elders and the family of Jesse to come to sacrifice the heifer he had brought with him. And when Samuel saw Eliab, the oldest son, he thought, surely the Lord's anointing is before him. Look at him, Lord. He is strong. He is tall. He is fit for battle. Eliab looks like a king. But God said, wrong. Nope, that's not who I want you to choose, Samuel. And in 1 Samuel 16, 7, what the Lord said to Samuel, do not look at his appearance. or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. Each of the brothers were brought to Samuel, hoping to be chosen. One by one, seven of them passed before Samuel. And God said a huge no to each one of them. God didn't even hesitate to say no. And then in 1 Samuel 16, 11, it says, And Samuel said to Jesse, Are all the young men here? Then he said, There remains the youngest. And there he is, keeping the sheep.

    Names of God 3

“The God who sees me” is the English translation of a Hebrew name: El Roi. “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matthew 6:26 NKJV We discover this name of God in Genesis 16:14-15. We meet Hagar, an Egyptian slave, who encountered God in the desert and addressed Him as El-Roi, "the God who sees me." Let’s look at Jehovah Rapha – the God Who Heals. God is a healer and delights in healing—physically, emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually. After escaping Egypt and walking on dry ground through the Red Sea, the Israelites find themselves three days in the wilderness (a barren desert) without water. Their bodies are craving liquid, and they have come too far to turn around—to do so would mean death. Sitting right in front of them is a body of water, but it’s undrinkable. The waters are polluted, contaminated, bitter. They called that place Marah (meaning bitter). “So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them, and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.””Exodus 15:25-26 NKJV “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 NKJV Jesus went throughout all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all sorts of diseases among the people. His fame went throughout all Syria. And they brought to Him all sick people who were taken with various diseases and tormented with pain, those who were possessed with demons, those who had seizures, and those who had paralysis, and He healed them (Matthew 4:23-24). “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.”Jeremiah 17:14 NKJV Jehovah Shalom – The Lord is Peace Peace doesn’t mean everything is always well and harmonious in our little worlds, or our circumstances are favorable and we have what we want. Jehovah Shalom means “the Lord is peace.” We first see this name for God appear in Judges chapter 6. Here we meet Gideon, the youngest son in the weakest family of the smallest tribe of Israel. At that time Israel is being oppressed by Midian, and they need to hide their crops from the enemy. This is where we see Gideon—threshing wheat in a winepress—hiding from the Midianites. The angel of the LORD appears to Gideon and calls him a “mighty man of valor” and instructs him to “go in this might” and save Israel from Midian. This calling seemed extreme and Gideon doubts. His heart immediately goes to his standing in his family, as the youngest, and in the community, as a member of the smallest clan. In fact, he doubts so greatly that he is the one chosen to save the people that he requests a sign from the angel, and the angel gives him a sign by making fire from a rock and burning up a meal. When Gideon realizes he has been in the presence of the angel of the LORD, his reaction is one of sheer panic. But the Lord speaks again saying to him, “Peace be to you. Do not fear; you shall not die.” Gideon responds in worship by building an altar and naming it, “The LORD is Peace."

    Names of God (2)

Let’ review the names: YHWH (Yahweh) – the Self-Existent God; Elohim – the Creator God – the One who bring Order to Chaos. Adonai – the Sovereign Lord – the God who frees you from control. The first name we are going to study today is El Shaddai – the Almighty God – the God who turns things around. Its deeper Hebrew root reveals God as the "All-Sufficient One" or "The God Who is more than enough" “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.” Genesis 17:1 NKJV Nothing is impossible for our God. “For with God nothing will be impossible.”” Luke 1:37 NKJV “Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”” Genesis 18:14 NKJV “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” Matthew 19:26 NKJV God says “If I will it, it will be done.” "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" – Romans 8:31 (https://www.christianity.com/bible/search/?ver=niv&q=romans+8:31) So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." – Isaiah 41:10. (https://www.christianity.com/bible/search/?ver=niv&q=isaiah+41:10) The next name I want us to look at is El Gibbor. In Hebrew, El Gibbor translates to "Mighty God” “Warrior God” or "Hero God". It is a compound of two Hebrew words: El: A common Semitic word for God, deity, or the divine. Gibbor: An adjective and noun meaning strong, mighty, a warrior, or a hero. It’s a word depicting bravery, courage, and action. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, (El Gibbor), Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 NKJV The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”” Exodus 14:14 NKJV. The Jewish Bible reads: “Adonai will do battle for you. Just calm yourselves down!” Sh'mot (Exo) 14:14 CJB. The Amplified Bible says to remain at rest. I Samuel 17:45 - “Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”” I Samuel 17:47 NKJV Jehovah Jireh – The Lord Will Provide – The God Who Provides Ahead of time. Translated from the Hebrew, Jireh means “to see” or “to provide.” On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” “And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”” Genesis 22:14 NKJV And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:19 NKJV “Moreover, my God will fill every need of yours according to his glorious wealth, in union with the Messiah Yeshua.” Philippians (Php) 4:19 CJB. e knows what you need, and He will provide — in His way, and in His perfect time.

Warriors of the Word TN Pilot
