Ich erreiche die Tierärztin und Buchautorin Nina Harriot mitten zur Unzeit. Dem geplanten Frühstücksinterview ging eine angespannte Nacht voraus: Die Lieblingsstute von Bauer Peterson hat ihr Fohlen gesund zur Welt gebracht. Das lang erwartete Kälbchen vom Hof Encanto der Bäuerin DosSantos hat trotz Problemschwangerschaft das Licht der Welt erblickt und Hendrick, dem Sohn von Bauer Tonto geht's auch wieder besser. Der war nämlich betrunken in einen Elektrozaun gefallen und konnte sich über Stunden nicht alleine befreien.
