Es ist die lebendige Beziehung zum lebendigen Gott, der „kein Gott der Toten“ ist, wie es das Evangelium betont, sondern ein Gott der Lebenden. Weil er jeden Menschen in die lebendige Beziehung zu sich ruft und Er selbst schon in die bleibende Beziehung zu uns getreten ist, so ist unsere Beziehung zu ihm lebendig, wenn sie auf Gegenseitigkeit beruht und wir in dieser Beziehung leben. Auferstandensein heißt, in der lebendigen Beziehung zu Gott zu stehen - auch jetzt in diesem Leben schon und in dieser Beziehung zu bleiben. P. Markus Johannes Straubhaar legt den Text des Evangeliums auf und macht deutlich, dass Auferstehung und ewiges Leben keine Kategorien des Jenseits sind, sondern hier in diesem Leben beginnen.
