Erfolgsgeschichte auf dem Hof
Wir besuchen Leila (34) auf dem Bauernhof im Berner Seeland. Sie studierte soziale Arbeit, arbeitete in Jugendtreffs mit Kindern mit psychischer Beeinträchtigung. Doch eigentlich wusste sie schon als Kind, was sie wollte: In der Natur mit Tieren arbeiten und Traktor fahren. So entschied sie sich für die verkürzte Lehre als Landwirtin. Jetzt verbindet sie beide Berufe: Auf dem Hof bildet Leila Jugendliche mit einer Lernschwäche aus. In der letzten Folge unseres Berufswahl-Podcast zeigen wir: Die erste Berufswahl ist nichts Endgültiges, sondern ein erster Schritt; ein Anfang, auf dem aufgebaut werden kann.

Lorena, 16, Informatikerin EFZ Fachrichtung App-Entwicklung
«Als App-Entwicklerin muss man vor allem logisch denken können. Und in Englisch fit sein.» Lorena ist im 1. Lehrjahr bei der Swiss Re. Es sei kein Männerjob, trotzdem seien die Frauen in der Unterzahl. Sie käme gut mit den männlichen Entwicklern klar und fühle sich nicht ausgeschlossen. «Ich wäre gerne Mentorin und Oberstiftin von jungen Frauen. So könnte ich Tricks weitergeben, wie man mit den Jungs besser klar kommt. Das fände ich cool».
