9) We Ran a Half-Marathon in DC!
On September 15th, we ran 13.1 miles through the streets of Washington, D.C.! “Why on earth would anybody do that?” you may ask. Well, we did it for several reasons: 1) because the memories; 2) because we can; 3) because why not? In this episode, we actually changed things up a little. We started with vlog-style footage of a date night. We answered some questions from “We’re Not Really Strangers” while driving to our new favorite pizza spot. You’ll see that we thoroughly enjoyed some impeccable pizza, then transitioned into the main episode about our half-marathon experience.

8) Dating Long-Distance
Within the first 4 years of dating, we spent a lot of time apart. For two months during the summer of 2016, we were 4000+ miles apart across two different countries. From Fall 2017 to Spring 2020, we lived 2744+ miles away from each other on opposite coasts of the United States. We learned SO MUCH about each other dating long-distance. In this episode, we share lessons learned from our long-distance season and offer some tips that can help other couples thrive during their time apart. Dating long-distance isn’t always easy, but we’re living proof that it’s possible and fruitful.

We’re taking a trip down memory lane with this episode. We originally recorded the majority of it back in 2022, after we got engaged. Darien pulled off a surprise proposal for Breanne with thee most genius, yet convoluted plan. If even one minor thing went wrong, the entire plan would’ve crumbled. Every single detail mattered.

Planning a wedding had to be one of the wildest group projects that we had ever done! In this episode, we discuss some key lessons learned before walking down the aisle and saying “I do.” We share practical tips and key moments of revelation that definitely alleviate stress and prevent future problems from emerging within each phase of wedding planning.
