Ep 020: Beyond Limits: Your Possibilities in Grace - The Journey Podcast

In today’s Journey with the Holy Ghost, He exposes the dangerous lie many believers have accepted, that grace is a license to sin. The world says you can "have both" God and your desires, but Scripture declares, "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? GOD FORBID!" (Romans 6:1-2).This is why so many believers live in bondage, not because grace hasn’t provided the resources to overcome sin, but because they’ve used the forgiveness found in grace to justify compromise. Just as Adam’s sin brought death, Christ’s resurrection brought LIFE, but if you keep flirting with what Jesus delivered you from, one day you might find yourself back where He delivered you from. This happens when we as believers divorce grace from Truth. But true grace doesn’t enable sin, it annihilates its power. If you’re using "God forgives" to justify what you won’t surrender, this episode is your wake-up call.Because as Spirit-filled believers, we must confront the truth, Grace is not a cover-up for sin, it’s the POWER to overcome it. The enemy’s greatest deception isn’t just tempting you to sin, it’s convincing you that grace makes repentance optional. My Prayer is that by the end of this episode, you’ll understand:🔥 Grace empowers you to live beyond limits, not to test them.🔥 True repentance isn’t guilt, it’s a changed identity.🔥 If your life doesn’t offend the devil, check if you’ve silenced the Holy Ghost. Thanks for watching! Ep 019 : The Truth About Your Identity - How Compromise Leads to Sin - The Journey Podcast

In today’s Journey with the Holy Ghost, He exposes the dangerous lie many believers have accepted—that you can add to your identity in Christ. The world says your identity is in your sexuality, your politics, your race, or your struggles… but GOD SAYS YOU ARE HIS.This is why so many believers live in spiritual confusion—not because God hasn’t defined them, but because they’ve allowed the world to redefine them, and just as Adam lost his identity through sin, Christ RESTORED it through the cross. But if you keep identifying with what Jesus delivered you from, you’ll never walk in the power of who you truly are.So as Spirit-filled believers, we must confront the truth: You cannot be a "gay Christian," a "trans Christian," or a "sin-affirming Christian"—because CHRIST DOES NOT SHARE HIS IDENTITY WITH SIN.The enemy’s greatest deception isn’t just making you sin—it’s making you IDENTIFY with your sin. And when you do, you surrender the authority that comes with being a child of God.So join me as we uncover:• Why your identity is NOT up for debate• The danger of "Christian + [sin label]"• How the world’s labels WEAKEN your spiritual authority• What it truly means to be "in Christ"• How terms like "gay Christian" mock the cross.By the end of today’s Journey, you’ll understand:🔥 Your identity is not your struggle—it’s your SAVIOR.🔥 You don’t negotiate with sin—you CRUCIFY it.🔥 If the world "accepts" your Christianity, check if you’re still representing CHRIST.🗡️ Your identity is a weapon and Compromise is surrender.📖 KEY SCRIPTURES:• 2 Corinthians 5:17 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-afNEJ66vc&list=PLkvEiVI9Arcbs6frASnX5nao8pOvBHynG&index=21&t=317s) – "If anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW creation."• 1 Peter 2:9 – "You are a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood."• Romans 6:2 – "How shall we who DIED to sin still live in it?"• John 1:12 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-afNEJ66vc&list=PLkvEiVI9Arcbs6frASnX5nao8pOvBHynG&index=21&t=72s) – "To those who received Him, He gave the right to become children of God."⚡ CHALLENGE:Stop introducing yourself with what Jesus saved you FROM and start declaring WHO HE MADE YOU TO BE. If your identity doesn’t offend the world, it probably doesn’t represent Christ. Today is the day to shed every false label and walk in the FREEDOM of your TRUE identity.👉 Tap play now to reclaim what the enemy has stolen.
