Jesus had taken over the temple grounds, ridding it of merchants and healing the blind and the lame. The chief priests tried to trap him with the question of where his authority came from. Jesus asked who gave John the Baptist his authority. Now its them who were the ones who were trapped.

Religious Corruption | Mark 11:12-25
Mark put the cleansing of the temple between the accounts of the fruitless fig tree to connect the disciples with Jeremiah 7 and 8. It went along with Jesus prediction of the destruction of Jerusalem and the horror that would come to pass. That is why He wept. He looks for fruit in our lives too. The passage concludes with Jesus' promise of how we can deal with the things that keep us from being fruitful.

Grok Says Jesus is God

Asked to remove the false gods from a cartoon of the world's deities, the AI chatbot Grok left one figure standing, Jesus, and then went further: that Jesus is the Son of God, that God raised Him from the dead, and that He is King of kings and Lord of lords.
