Kalkar
Kalkar mit seinen 13 Ortsteilen gehört zum Kreis Kleve und wurde Ende der 1980er Jahre überregional bekannt durch die Bürgerproteste gegen das Kernkraftwerk "Schneller Brüter". Es wurde 1985 fertiggestellt, ging aber nie in Betrieb. Seit 1995 befindet sich auf dem Gelände ein Freizeitpark mit Übernachtungs- und Tagungsmöglichkeiten. Von wdr4.
