Welcome to Abiding on Mission, a Catholic podcast where I share the struggles, joys, and lessons of living on mission while exploring how we can remain rooted in Christ amid life’s busyness and distractions.
Inspired by John 15:16, we are reminded that we have been chosen to go and bear fruit. You don’t have to travel abroad to live on mission. From Baptism, we are called to make Christ known wherever He has planted us.
So, wherever you are in the world, come abide in Him as we continue the mission of making Him known. For Him, with Him, and in Him.
Welcome back! In our continuing series on the 7 Deadly Sins, today we dive into the sins of Greed and Envy — two sins that quietly consume the heart and pull us away from God.
Due to the length of this series and the intense spiritual warfare that came with filming these episodes, we decided to split the series into multiple parts. If you haven’t watched our discussion on Pride, be sure to check out our previous episode: “Mortal vs. Venial Sin & the Deadliest Sin.”

The kids here in Zaragoza Spain come to a place called Actur where they are given a second chance at education. Many come from vulnerable families, including immigrants and refugees. These kids have had to grow up fast, and Actur is often the only place where they truly get to be kids.
But their patio, their only “backyard” — is falling apart.
There is loose gravel everywhere, only one small drinking fountain that is already breaking down, and the patio hasn’t been renovated in 28 years. We want to help change that.
Our mission is to help build the kids the patio of their dreams, a safe place to play, laugh, grow, and simply be children again.
