[…] When did I first realize healing doesn't have to be alone? I think more recently when we've been doing events, there have been avenues for talking about different things. I think naturally when I'm engaging with people and it requires me to open up, I don't have a lot of walls around that. So I think I knew healing is more effective in community, but I also know healing in community has its own things we identify as risks. Because when you're healing in community, it means you're vulnerable, you're sharing, and there are a lot of risks involved. So I don't think that I was intentionally putting myself out there to heal in community. […]
