Her experience as an immigrant, and subsequent homecoming, helped to hone her eye to the particularities of both cultures, which she strives to express visually through her artwork. Olivia graduated as a Master Mosaicist from the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in 2016, where she was trained in classical Italian techniques. Since then, she has worked developing her own take on this ancient medium.
