God cares for you
We do have cares, don't we? The bills keep increasing and inflation constantly affecting purchasing power. Rents are due, grocery finished, school fees are due and so on. We have family demands, work demands and personal demands. Our spouses don't seem to get the point and the children can't understand. The daily traffic on the road is excruciating and insecurity every where. The media is filled with sad news; whether it is banditry, terrorism, kidnapping, robbery or it is road/air crashes claiming lives. Where is God in all of this? Does God Care? Does God know that we have these cares? What will He have us do about our cares? God indeed cares, and so He bids us to cast all our cares on him. We must therefore begin to see God as our Father who cares for us and then it will make sense to daily cast all cares on Him. "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." At creation, Man was at peace with God and with nature all around Him, but when Man sinned, He became enemy with God and nature became cruel to Him. However, with the offering of Jesus as a Sacrifice, Man was reconciled to God and He had peace with God and nature restored along with several blessings. Spirit of the Prophet
In Ezekiel 37, the prophet Ezekiel was taken in spirit to the valley of dry bones and by the leading of the Lord, he was asked to prophesy that the dry bones come back to life. As he prophesied, he watched and saw a great event happen, dry bones came back to life and a seemingly hopeless situation was reversed. Have you ever been in a seemingly hopeless situation? What did you do? Have you resigned to fate and given up on a situation because it is dauntingly hopeless?
