Podcast Overview

We Could Be Watching explores the wonderful possibility of free will through the lens of deciding to usually not watch the show this podcast was ostensibly created for. Every episode our hosts Shane and Sanga cover one episode of their "backup" show, Lexx, and then decide if they watch an episode of Stargate SG-1 or simply choose from the nearly unlimited amount of other things to cover instead!

Is it a Stargate podcast focused on watching anything other than Stargate? Is it a Lexx podcast with an anti-Stargate grudge? Is it secretly just sort of a variety hour, like that of the Star Wars Holiday Special? We Could Be Ryuking

Perhaps this is truly a cursed episode of Lexx, such is the case when the file for this podcast episode went mysteriously missing. Luckily we found a backup and now we're here to have what is sure to be the shortest Lexx discussion we'll ever have. I guess out of all the things Lexx does this is one of the more forgivable ones since it's kind of funny but also, I can't believe I watched all that again.

Anyway! Death Note: The Musical. I'm glad we both liked this one. Anime can be good sometimes, even in non-animated forms in London recorded illegally. That's the real pioneer spirit.

You can email us at wecouldbewatching@gmail.com.

Hosted on Acast. We Could Be Clip Showing

Welcome, audience! Listen, you could do a lot worse listening to two guys talk about politics for an hour. Honestly less people should talk about politics at Thanksgiving and should instead talk about the Stargate clip show, which I contend is one of the best episodes of the season (and maybe the franchise?). Lexx is here, briefly bringing up the idea of having good character beats and then deciding to do something else instead? Maybe the future episode will pull that around? (I have already seen it so I know the answer is very funny).

Thank you for listening!!

You can email us at wecouldbewatching@gmail.com.

Hosted on Acast. We Could Be Queuing

It's a crossover episode! After Sanga demanded big freaks, we were lucky enough to get Mel to come over from the Ultra Queue podcast to discuss the biggest most Australian freaks of all. But first, we subject Mel to TERRIBLE SCIENCE FICTION ABOUT GENDER that is also sort of a LAZY PARODY OF THE WIZARD OF OZ! Sorry about that!

Mel's Podcast is Ultra Queue - Available on any podcast platform or here on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/@UltraQueue

Thanks again for listening!

You can email us at wecouldbewatching@gmail.com.

Hosted on Acast.
