We Gotta Talk About...Education ft Black in PUSD

Education is a super important topic and not necessarily one that isn't discussed, it's just always discussed within a certain space and amongst people who reap all the benefits of being educated. So...we're here to talk about the things that those people didn't experience. From the perspective of BIPOC who felt out of place, had students verbally attack them, and had teachers who were never invested in them. On this episode we were able to talk with Nene and Ekene, the students behind Black in PUSD, an account which shares first hand accounts of racism in a school district in San Diego. TW // during our interview with Black in PUSD Nene and Ekene discuss stories of being threatened by white students which may be triggering to Black folx.
