Congratulations! You've just become best friends with comedian/voice actor Justin Rupple and entertainer Taylor Sokol. Their podcast “We’re Just So Cool” is what it’s like to hang out with a comedian and an entertainment director for half an hour as they share their passions in comedy, film music, TV, life and Golf. It’s Just Good Friends, Just Great Laughs and Just So Cool!
Not Just About Joker 2, Christian Bale Impressions & The Ultimate Male Movies
In this whirlwind episode of "We're Just So Cool," hosts Justin Rupple and Taylor Sokol dive headfirst into the cinematic universe, starting with Taylors hot take on "Joker 2." They hilariously debate the necessity of certain films and the creative bankruptcy of rehashed ideas. This lively discussion transitions seamlessly into the enigma that is Batman—hero or not? The jury's still out!
Taylor leaves Justin in stitches with his spot-on Christian Bale impression, channeling both the brooding Batman and the chilling Patrick Bateman from "American Psycho." The fun doesn't stop there as they envision a spin-off series featuring Morgan Freeman's Lucius Fox and Bale's Bruce Wayne—talk about dynamic duos!
What makes a quintessential "male film"? Prepare for a mix of laughter and introspection, as they even share a touching heart-to-heart moment that reveals the softer side of their bromance.
Tune in for an episode that’s as thought-provoking as it is entertaining, blending humor, insights, and a sprinkle of emotions! 🎥🎙️✨

Not Just About Rocking Golf Hats, Celebrity Encounters, Chasing Your Dreams
In this delightfully chaotic episode of "We're Just So Cool," hosts Justin Rupple and Taylor Sokol are rocking their Dhudson swag and diving deep into their love for golf hats. Ever wondered why golf hats have that mysterious string? Maybe it involves sheep herders and Scotland— it's a yarn worth unraveling!
The duo then shifts gears to share hilarious and sometimes cringe-worthy tales of celebrity encounters. Justin recounts his awkward (but now legendary) meeting with Gerard Butler, where an impression request hilariously morphed into Shrek. And a deeper question: Do we seek selfies, or meaningful moments? They reflect on the impact of film and TV creators—how their works take on a life of their own, often in ways they never imagined.
Join Justin and Taylor for an episode filled with laughs, thoughtful musings, and a reminder to do what you love and love what you do! 🎙️✨

Not Just About Jim Carreys Stellar Year of 1994, Unbridled Artistic Expression & Superhero Fatigue
In this sun-soaked episode, Justin Rupple and Taylor Sokol chat about Justin's family's big move to the desert oasis of Palm Springs and how the change has brought them newfound happiness. The duo takes a nostalgic detour to discuss the childhood classic "Home Alone" (or as they like to call it, "Die Hard for kids") and reminisce about Jim Carrey's stellar year in 1994, with his trifecta of epic movies: "Ace Ventura," "Dumb & Dumber," and "The Mask."
They dive into the comedic brilliance of Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy, and Adam Sandler, celebrating their iconic contributions to the world of comedy. Does anyone else remember Eddie Murphy's "Party All the Time"? The conversation then shifts to the current state of movies, where Justin and Taylor express their frustration with studios potentially ruining true artistic visions.
And of course, they tackle the topic of superhero fatigue, acknowledging that it's been a real struggle for the last several years. Join them for another episode filled with laughter, movie nostalgia, and a few rants that we can all relate to. 🎙️🌵🍿
