South Florida DJ legend Slammin' Felix Sama joins Sharon Pfeiffer and Joe Rubo on We Tawk Funny for a conversation about radio, freestyle, remixing the classics and keeping the party going for more than 35 years.Felix takes it back to the beginning: spinning house parties as a teenager, studying the mix-show legends, and sending in a mixtape that got him on the air at Hot 105. From there he worked his way from overnights all the way to the morning show, spending 12 years at Power 96. He recently returned for the station's 40th anniversary celebration.Felix and Joe also reveal Pack the Place, a TV concept they're developing. It's like Bar Rescue, but for struggling nightclubs, focusing on the DJs, sound, lighting and promotions that actually bring people through the door.Of course, it wouldn't be We Tawk Funny without things going completely off the rails. Jordan Garnett TAWKs Funny
Comedian Jordan Garnett joins Sharon Pfeiffer and Joe Rubbo on We Tawk Funny, and this one goes exactly where you’d expect it to go—completely off the rails.
Jordan has been doing stand-up since he was a teenager, but his road through comedy hasn’t exactly been smooth. He talks about starting at the Palm Beach Improv, getting opportunities at a young age, touring, dealing with jealousy in the comedy scene and learning that sometimes the best thing you can do is stop worrying about everybody else and find your own lane. But behind the jokes, Jordan gets real about a period when his drinking became so bad that he stepped away from comedy for two years. He talks about getting sober, the people who helped him turn things around and what it means to now return to the Palm Beach Improv—the same stage where his comedy career started—as a headliner. Jordan talks about meeting his fiancée while performing on the road, why she hates comedy, bombing and killing on stage, comedy classes, getting fired from a tour, fellow comedians, his first joke at 14 years old and some of the strangest moments from nearly two decades of stand-up.

Jordan explains how getting sober unexpectedly led to a love for the Miami Marlins, his viral social media presence, throwing out a first pitch in a ridiculously tight baseball uniform—and his ongoing mission to finally get the Marlins to follow him back.
