And basically, they use body brokers to recruit homeless, addicted people from across the country, offer them free airline flights, cash, apartments, hotel stays, cars, gift cards, marijuana and other illegal drugs. Premium patients with high paying insurance got hotels and dinners. Others lived in what DOJ described as cramped, unsanitary trap houses. Prosecutors say patients were cycled through the facilities regardless of need. Some were encouraged to use drugs so they would qualify for the insurance payments. This is what's going on.
