The OceanGate Submersible Implosion
welcome back to we've always been weird! we have a quick update on health at the very beginning here, please keep haley in your thoughts and prayers as she receives treatment for her thyroid nodule caused by autoimmune disease so she can regain her voice and health and feel better and hang out with us !!! today we're beginning a mini series diving into stories related to one of hannah's biggest fears: DEEP WATER. we begin with a discussion of the titan submersible, a craft designed and operated by the oceangate company that three years ago disappeared on a dive to the titanic and tragically met an implosion caused by mechanical failure and the pressure of the deep sea.

quick update + preview
New episode will drop this evening! After that we'll be back to drops at 12AM central Tuesdays weekly. Please send well wishes to Haley during her break; for the description readers, she has an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid which has caused her to develop a growth in her throat that has given her an ongoing sore throat and loss of voice, so she's had to alter her duties at her day job and with the podcast. She's currently just wrapped up testing and should be starting treatment this week after results are received; she'll be rejoining us after her treatment + recovery, but let's send her lots of love and good vibes and prayers for no pain and the return of her voice and health <3 I'll be hanging out with y'all until she's back, but we love more than anything being a sister hosted pod so I know we're super excited for that and extra super excited for her recovery in general.
