In meinem Podcast bringe ich interessante Blicke auf die Welt aus anderen Winkeln als gewohnt. Dazu gehört die Philosophie, aber auch die Politik, die Wirtschaft oder Themen aus der Gesellschaft. Mein Ziel ist es, zum Nachdenken anzuregen und neue Perspektiven zu eröffnen. Ganz wichtiger Bestandteil ist die Vermittlung von Wissen, unter dem Motto "einfach erklärt". Beim Thema Philosophie habe ich schon einiges dazu beigetragen. Auf meinem YouTube-Kanal erkläre ist seit 2013 philosophische Themen einfach und allgemeinverständlich. Das wurde sehr gut angenommen. Auf diesem Weg möchte ich weitergehen und das Themenspektrum erweitern. Ich habe nie auf viel Brimborium Wert gelegt, darum passen Audio-Podcasts ganz gut. Ohne Effekthascherei, nur die Stimme, die etwas erklärt und kommentiert. Old style.

Erstaunlich ist oft nicht, was man alles gelernt, sondern, was man alles wieder vergessen hat.
Für mich ist es immer wieder erstaunlich, was ich alles vergessen habe. Was habe ich in Schule und Studium nicht alles gelernt und jetzt ist der Großteil weg, so scheint es. Lohnt sich da das Lernen überhaupt? Ich denke ja, denn es bleibt ja immer noch was übrig und auch das Vergessene prägt den Menschen und sein Gehirn. Jeder hat seine persönliche Bildungsgeschichte, jede ist wertvoll und jede prägt den Menschen für Jahrzehnte. Man sollte aber nicht vergessen, ab und zu zu hinterfragen, ob die Dinge, die man heute noch weiß, nicht zu sehr gefiltert wurden durch persönliche Erfahrungen. Man sollte immer selbstkritisch bleiben und sich selbst und seine Anschauungen infrage stellen können.

Nach der Wahrheit streben!
In den heutigen Debatten scheint es fast so, als sei die Wahrheit nur eine Funktion des Zwecks. Wahr ist, was nützt, was Aufmerksamkeit schafft und Klicks bringt. Das ist falsch. Es gibt Wahrheit, es gibt Fakten jenseits des Ich. Auch wenn die Mehrheit dagegen ist, wenn es keine Klicks bringt, Fakten sind Fakten, Stellen wir uns dem und streben nach der Wahrheit!

Diplomatie ist in diesen Tagen nicht sehr beliebt, fast hat man den Eindruck, sie sei überholt. Das liegt an vielen falschen Vorstellungen, die man von ihr hat. Ich erkläre, was Diplomatie bedeutet, welche Voraussetzungen sie hat und warum sie auch in Zukunft notwendig ist.
