Welcome to The World of Tomorrow

About Welcome to The World of Tomorrow

Good news, Everyone! Join diehard fans Kory and Izzy as they guide Jared--their own Philip J Fry--through the animated masterpiece Futurama for the very first time. Much like Fry, Jared has missed several years of social change and pop culture—including this longstanding futuristic classic. Every week, we will voyage through this ridiculous future one episode at a time, while also catching Jared up on what he's missed in the last decade. Experience this rewatchable classic through fresh eyes as we catch Jared's immediate reactions following each episode. (we are also currently the destination for an anomalous frequency that transmits some mysterious audio artifacts that seem to coincide with our episodes, but that's a whole other story. Wild) Whether you’re a longtime fan who sleeps to it every night, experiencing it for the first time yourself, or just interested in hearing songs about robots, come along as we explore one of the funniest, weirdest, and most comforting shows ever made. It's gonna be fun on a bun! Say hi on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php/?id=61572346235940), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/wttwotpodcast/) or at wttwotpodcast@gmail.com!

Episode 2.9 - Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love?

Better late than never! Due to our producer/editor taking a page from Vox Velour-IV's book and going on vacation, there has a been a slight delay in episode output. But 5000 miles and our weekly slew of technical difficulties couldn't keep us from the Frenzy! Ready those cloacas cuz we are just GLOAMING with male jelly and snipping at the bit for this episode. Jared, Kory and Izzy head to Decapod 10 for the Frenzy. Izzy breaks into song, Jared tries to get himself canceled, Kory continues to giggle himself into his own frenzy, all while covering our favorite moments from this epic episode, pondering the real questions--like where was she keeping the beef? No need to pack pants, people! This is Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love.
