Intensivstation, Beatmung, Inkubator – man wird vor allem mit medizinischen Themen und der Frage konfrontiert: Überlebt mein Baby? Diese erste Zeit wird intensiv betreut. Aber wenn es dann endlich aus der Klinik nach Hause geht muss man sich mit unglaublich vielen neuen Themen auseinandersetzen, von Hilfsmitteln über Therapien und Reha-Programmen bis hin zur Babysitter-Auswahl. Da setzt der Podcast an: wir erzählen, mit welchen Alltagsthemen Eltern von Frühgeborenen umgehen müssen und welche Tipps, Tricks und Kniffe wir uns selbst erarbeitet haben. Wir sind Rita und Eva, Mamas von Extremfrühchen. Wir haben uns 2012 auf der Kinderintensivstation beim Känguruhen kennengelernt. Unsere insgesamt drei Extremfrühchen wurden in der 24. bzw. 26. SSW geboren, haben sich wortwörtlich ins Leben gekämpft. Heute, mit acht Jahren, haben sie einen Riesenspaß am Leben – bei allen alltäglichen Herausforderungen. Mit unserem Podcast möchten wir Mut machen, indem wir unsere ganz persönlichen Erfahrungen weitergeben.
