Stef Bos over 'Papa'
In 1991 komt 'Papa' van Stef Bos uit. Het wordt zijn bekendste nummer. Een liedje dat Stef tot op de dag van vandaag nog graag zingt en dat zijn publiek blijft ontroeren. Stef schrijft het liedje al in 1988 als hij te horen krijgt dat zijn papa erg ziek is. In 2006 wordt 'Papa' opgenomen in de Radio 2 Eregalerij.

Ze winnen Canzonissima en hebben zo hun ticket voor Eurosong 1971 op zak maar… het noodlot slaat toe: Nicole krijgt geelzucht en Jacques Raymond en Lily Castel vervangen hen op het songfestival in Dublin. Connie Neefs en Rocco Granata over 'Wat een Leven'
In 1965 zingt Louis Neefs 'Wat een leven' door het grote publiek ook vaak 'Als ik ooit eens 5 minuten tijd heb' genoemd. Louis wint er in oktober 1965 Het Vlaamse Schlagerfestival mee in de Koningin Elisabethzaal in Antwerpen. Maar de grote bekendheid komt er wanneer 'Wat een Leven' gebruikt wordt bij een reportage in het TV programma Echo. De muziek illustreert de intussen iconische beelden van arbeiders in Aarschot die op hun dooie gemak aan het werk zijn.
