Oct. 25 - Dear God: Thy Kingdom Come | Emily Wright

Prayer is not a private add-on to Christian life; it is, as theologian Karl Barth argued, the defining act — the sign that we take God’s promises seriously enough to ask him to keep them. Listen as we practice bold prayer before God. [Matthew 6:9–13]

Oct 18 - Dear God: The Inner Room | Emily Wright

Most of us like to pray with words. This week we consider the gift of silent prayer. Before prayer can shape our words, it must shape our solitude and silence. Join us in worship as we continue to deepen our understanding and practice of prayer. [Mark 1:35-39; Matthew 6:5-6]

Oct 11 - Dear God: The Growing Edge | Emily Wright

Prayer’s deepest work often happens in hidden, wordless places — the quiet “growing edge” where hope keeps forming even in suffering, and the Spirit prays within us what we cannot say. [Lamentations 3:19–26; Romans 8:24-27]
