You want to start posting content online… but the thought of people you know seeing it makes you want to disappear.
I know that feeling very well.
When I started posting more of myself online, I worried about old friends, work colleagues and people from my past seeing my content and thinking, “Who does she think she is?” or “Does she think she’s an influencer now?”
In this episode, I talk about why I was so embarrassed to put myself out there, how worrying about other people’s opinions kept me procrastinating for months, and what finally helped me start posting even though I still cared what people thought.
We also get into the weird vulnerability of being seen trying, why waiting for confidence doesn’t really work, and how posting repeatedly eventually made something that once felt terrifying feel surprisingly normal.
