NFL Talk 3 Ft Myles & Sean

The NFL feels one step away from a full-on identity crisis, and this conversation explains why. From shocking roster moves to the growing pressure on young quarterbacks, Cody, Sean, and Myles break down the league's most revealing storylines before the season's early chaos hardens into reality.Cody kicks things off with the Padres and the strange sight of fans repping the wrong team in the wrong stadium, but the real heat starts when the guys dig into the Joey Porter Jr. trade and what it says about the Steelers' direction. Is Pittsburgh rebuilding, settling, or simply drifting? Myles is blunt about the frustration, Sean pushes the bigger-picture management questions, and Cody calls out the team's habit of choosing comfort over urgency. From there, the conversation widens into one of the sharpest football debates of the episode: why teams keep rushing quarterbacks before they're ready. You'll hear them unpack JJ McCarthy, Jackson Dart, Sam Darnold, Cam Ward, Mendoza, and Jordan Love, along with the growing disconnect between talent, development, and expectation. They also get into how run games shape quarterback success, why some players manage the game while others change it, and how systems can make or break a young signal-caller.You'll discover: Why the Steelers' Joey Porter Jr. trade feels like a warning sign for the whole franchise What the Giants and Vikings moves say about quarterback development in today's NFL Why Jordan Love's struggles may be more about structure than raw ability How the Raiders, Rams, and other teams handle the future differently Why the league keeps creating pressure on young stars before they're truly ready The episode also turns into a wider critique of where football is heading. The guys talk about softening rules, flag football's rise, AI and robots in the sport's future, and whether the NFL's current direction is slowly pushing the game away from the hard-nosed culture fans grew up loving. If you want honest football talk with strong opinions, sharp takes, and real fan frustration, this one is for you. Perfect for anyone who cares about the NFL beyond the box score and wants to hear where the league is really headed next. Guests: Sean brings the Carolina and NFL perspective, especially on team-building, quarterback development, and why certain front offices keep repeating the same mistakes. Myles brings the Steelers lens and the most emotional read on the Joey Porter Jr. trade, plus blunt takes on what Pittsburgh has become. Cody hosts and drives the discussion, connecting the trades, QB debates, and bigger league trends into one fast-moving football conversation.

   We on Go!!!

A movie needs more than good references. Cody liked the Resident Evil details that echoed the games, but felt the humor undercut the horror. For him, callbacks work best when they strengthen a film’s mood rather than distract from it. Personal values shape what you’re willing to recommend. Cody couldn’t endorse Resident Evil because its repeated use of God’s name conflicted with his Christian beliefs, even though he appreciated some of its horror elements. Strong concepts can still fall flat in execution. Cody praised Robert Pattinson’s performance in Primetime, but thought the movie lost momentum and felt stretched. He also questioned whether its story was more concerned with ratings than with its stated purpose. Franchises need to stay connected to their defining characters. Cody hopes Clayface includes Batman and imagines a darker, more frightening take on the character. He also argues that a menacing Darth Vader story could give Star Wars a compelling new direction. Making the playoffs isn’t the finish line. Cody is excited the Padres clinched a playoff spot, but hopes the team keeps pushing toward a World Series rather than treating qualification as the goal. Small acts of kindness can make a real difference. Cody closes by encouraging listeners to notice when someone is tired or struggling and offer practical help—a coffee, a meal, or another simple gesture.

   Just Another One

A canceled Jeopardy-style episode, three new movie reviews, a Michigan football controversy, a brutal Rams loss in Australia, and a long-awaited merch update all collide in this raw, unfiltered solo episode from Cody. If you want honest takes with zero filter, this one is packed with reactions, rankings, and real-life updates.Cody opens by explaining why the planned group episode with Shannon, Tessa, and Carly fell apart after Riverside issues made the recording impossible to salvage. From there, he pivots into the kind of episode he wanted to give listeners anyway - a personal, off-the-cuff breakdown of what he’s been watching, what he’s been feeling, and why certain sports moments left him fired up.You’ll hear Cody break down three movies he recently watched, including Backrooms, The Dog Stars, and the long-overdue classic Fargo. He shares what worked, what fell flat, why the first half of some films pulled him in, and why Fargo ended up being the one that really stuck with him. He also explains exactly what he looks for in horror and apocalypse movies, from atmosphere and tension to whether a story actually earns its ending. Then the episode turns into a sports rant with real stakes. Cody reacts to Michigan’s wild clock-management controversy, the questionable Hail Mary finish, and what it all says about the team’s early-season outlook. He also unloads on the Rams’ ugly loss in Australia, calling out the preparation, travel decisions, and lack of execution that made the defeat feel bigger than just one bad game.Along the way, Cody gives an update on the podcast’s future, including new merch finally moving forward after a rough breakup with a previous shirt company. He also closes with a heartfelt shoutout to his friend Rhett for the support, making this episode feel as personal as it is opinionated.Perfect for listeners who want movie talk, sports takes, creator updates, and the kind of honest solo episode that feels like hanging out with a friend who says exactly what he thinks.
