Ossett Brewery King of Terrors - Track Brewing Neighbourhood '26 - ep763
It's another DIPA episode. Stop me if you've heard this before. We've got two big, juicy DIPAs this episode with lots of hops smacking you upside your head. These two are from England. First is Ossett Brewery King of Terrors, 7.2% ABV DIPA. Track Brewing Neighbourhood '26 is an collab with Canadian Messorem. This year it clocks in at 10% ABV with Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops. #beer #craftbeer #drinks #dipa #tipa
Martin dug really really deep into his cellar and found two beers from decades past. Should we be drinking and reviewing these beers on the podcast? Probably not but someone has to do the dirty work. If you've ever thought, "you can age a barleywine for a really long time." You should know, 12 years is too long. Birrificio Baladin Lune Annata 2014 is a 13% ABV English barleywine that probably should have been consumed 6 years ago. Sigtuna Brygghus Ace of Spades Imperial Stout was released in 2010. It comes in a 18.5% ABV and was probably pretty good 10 years ago. This just goes to show that you can't age a beer forever not matter how well you try. #beer #craftbeer #drinks #barleywine #imperialstout
Sometimes you just want to feel a little classier than other times. That's when we reach for a gueuze and enjoy the citrus and green apple notes. We open two druif gueuze this episode. What is a druif? It's a lambic made with red wine grapes. 3 Fonteinen Druif Dornfelder Blend No 30 is a 9% ABV lambic made with German Dornfelder grapes. Tommie Sjef Druif is only 7.6% ABV. It's made with Kekfrankos grapes and blended with spontaneously fermented wine from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from 2028. You can never go wrong with you double Druif. #beer #craftbeer #drinks #lambic #gueuze #druif
