Podcast Overview

Welcome to The XMXperience.

It all started with an idea. An idea that almost became a political podcast… until we realized two things:

The world didn’t need another one, and

Jake and Don (2 Gen Xers) wanted to remain friends.

So instead, in December 2024, Jake teamed up with a coworker, Sammie (a Millennial), to ask a much better question: WTF? Not the headline-grabbing kind — the everyday kind. The moments that make you stop mid-sentence, stare into the void, and say it out loud.

Jake pitched the idea to Don, politics left firmly off the table, and throughout 2025 the three of them talked about...everything. Life, relationships, work, music, pop culture, personal stories, weird news, bad decisions, good intentions, and the random chaos that somehow connects it all.

Somewhere along the way, something clicked.

Two Gen-X guys and one Millennial gal turned out to be the perfect mix — different perspectives, shared sarcasm, unexpected insight, blooper reels that never should’ve seen daylight, and fits of laughter that sometimes hijacked the episode entirely. Thoughtful conversations collided with absolute nonsense, and that became the magic.

A year later, we’re still asking WTF — but the show grew into something bigger. Same conversations. Same voices. Same chaos. Just a clearer reflection of what it always was.

The XMXperience is a front-row seat to life’s unscripted moments — the ones that don’t fit neatly into boxes, the coincidences that feel a little too perfect, and the human experiences that remind us we’re all just winging it together.

Life doesn’t follow a script. It improvises, stumbles, and occasionally breaks into interpretive dance.

Welcome to The XMXperience — where the unexpected isn’t just entertained… it’s celebrated.

The XMXperience Trailer

It started with an idea. Actually… a few ideas.

One of them involved politics. That one didn’t make it very far—mostly because Don and Jake wanted to remain friends.

Around the same time, Jake and Sammie were having a different kind of conversation: Everyday life. The moments—big and small—that make you stop and ask the same question over and over again:

What the fuck?

That question became the foundation. Jake pitched it to Don. Just real conversations, honest reactions, and different generations trying to make sense of the same world. Don loved it.

What followed were unfiltered discussions about work, relationships, culture, and the everyday chaos we all deal with—told through the perspectives of two Gen Xers and a millennial. Sometimes funny. Sometimes thoughtful. Sometimes accidentally insightful.

That’s what The XMXperience is.

Not a rebrand. Just a better name for what this always was.

If you like real conversations, generational perspective, and moments that make you laugh, shake your head, or quietly think “how is this normal?”—you’re in the right place.

Welcome to The XMXperience.

Best of The Current Chaos (So Far)

🎄 Season Three Holiday Special: Best of the Chaos (So Far) 🎄

While Sammie, Jake, and Don take a much-needed break for the holidays, we didn’t want to leave you hanging—so we stitched together a Best Of Season Three episode packed with the pure, unfiltered chaos you’ve come to expect from What The Fuck. From unhinged stories and accidental therapy sessions to moments that made us question humanity (and sobriety), this is a highlight reel of the madness so far.

Consider this our holiday gift to you while we recharge, re-caffeinate, and mentally prepare for what comes next. Enjoy the laughs, the WTF moments, and the reminder that you’re not alone in asking, “What the fuck is wrong with people?”

Have a safe, happy holiday—and don’t worry…

The wacky trio will be back after the New Year with some fresh hell. 🎙️🔥

What The Christmas?

What The Christmas? 🎄🎙️

It’s the holidays, and somehow we made it… together. In this special What The Christmas?episode, Sammie, Jake, and Don hit pause on the chaos, the absurdity, and the everyday “what the fuck” moments to do something a little different—say thank you.

This episode is all about gratitude. Gratitude for the listeners who found us, stuck with us, shared us, laughed with us, and made our very first year of this podcast possible. From the bottom of our slightly inappropriate hearts, we talk about what this year has meant to us, how unreal it still feels to be doing this, and why this community is the best damn part of the whole thing.

Whether you’ve been here since episode one or you just stumbled in wondering what the fuck this is all about—this episode is for you.

So pour a drink, grab some questionable holiday leftovers, and spend a little time with us as we celebrate the season, the year, and you.

From all of us at What The Fuck—thank you, and What The Christmas? 🎄
