Mike is a retired Fellow of the American Meteorological Society and retired Certified Consulting Meteorologists. He is the author of two books about storms and is currently working on his first fiction book. Mike has received more than 40 U.S. and foreign patents and is the author of far too many papers and popular articles to list.</p> <p>Mike and his wife, Kathleen, live in Wichita. <p>Bryan Busby <span style="font-weight: 400;">is Chief Meteorologist at KMBC 9 News, and is also heard on News Radio 980 and 98.1 FM, KMBZ. He has the longest tenure of any of Kansas City’s chief TV meteorologists. He’s is considered one of the premier broadcast meteorologists in the country, and has served on the American Meteorological Society's Board of Broadcast Meteorologists. He was also one of ten weathercasters showcased by the Weather Channel's "America's Forecasters" series.</span></p>
