FOIP was established in 2021 to bring together fundraising professionals, alumni and community partners of diverse backgrounds to advance systemic change. Maia shares insights on how FOIP was established and the path they’ve formed towards a more inclusive philanthropic culture. FOIP hopes to be used as a national model for inclusive philanthropy in higher education and inspire other institutions and university foundations to take on the work necessary to achieve systemic change.
