Have You Settled
What if the greatest obstacle to God's promises isn't opposition... but comfort?
In Episode 3 of What You're Too Afraid to Say, we continue our series, Acting on My Own Timing, by looking at the story of the tribes of Reuben and Gad in Numbers 32.
When they reached the edge of the Promised Land, they saw land that looked good enough and asked to stay where they were instead of moving forward into what God had promised.
How often do we do the same?
Sometimes settling doesn't look like rebellion.
It looks like choosing what's familiar over what's faithful, what's comfortable over what's called, or what's convenient over complete trust in God.
Together, we'll explore questions like:
• Have I mistaken comfort for God's confirmation?
• Where have I stopped short because "good enough" felt easier?
• Is God inviting me to trust Him beyond what's familiar?
If you've ever found yourself staying where it's comfortable instead of stepping into what God is calling you toward, this conversation is for you.
📖 Key Scripture:
Numbers 32
🌱 This Week's Challenge:
Ask God to reveal any area where you've settled for less than what He is inviting you into. Read Numbers 32, spend time in prayer, and ask Him for the courage to take one faithful step forward.
Remember...
God already knows. Just sit and listen.

What Does Your Heart Really Desire ?
What if the greatest thing pulling you away from God isn’t your circumstances… but your desires?
In this week’s episode of What You’re Too Afraid to Say, we continue our series, Acting on My Own Timing, by looking at the life of King Solomon in 1 Kings 11.
Solomon was known for his wisdom, yet over time his heart slowly drifted. His story reminds us that we rarely wake up one day far from God. More often, our hearts begin to wander long before our actions do.
Together, we’ll explore questions like:
• What desires are shaping my decisions?
• Have I allowed good things to become greater than God?
• Am I pursuing God’s will, or simply what I want?
This conversation is an invitation to let God search your heart, realign your desires, and trust His timing over your own.
This week’s challenge: Spend time in prayer asking God to reveal any desire that has become more important than your relationship with Him. Read 1 Kings 11 and ask Him to align your heart with His.
Key Scripture: 1 Kings 11

What Are You Running From… or Chasing
Episode 1 of the Series Acting on my Own Timing.
This episode we deep dive into the things that have caused us to run or chase things that God gave us the desire for first!
Take a second and think of the place that may bring a little discomfort that you are so quickly willing to run away from. Submit to God if that’s the place he intends for the biggest transformation of your life to take place.
We read the book of Jonah Chapter 1 as a reference for the part of the journey we are in now.
Bring your coffee, Bible and possible the tissues because the presence of the Lord is all over and in this episode and I am ecstatic to share in it with you.
I pray this episode is the start. . .
Remember just sit in listen.

I Finally Said Yes | The Beginning of What You’re Too Afraid to Say
Episode 0: Why This Podcast Exists
There are conversations we avoid.
Questions we keep to ourselves.
Prayers we whisper in silence.
Moments when we wonder if God still sees us, still hears us, or still has a purpose for our lives.
Welcome to the very first episode of “What You're Too Afraid to Say”
This podcast was born out of obedience. I didn't start it because I have all the answers or because I feel qualified. I started it because I believe God gently called me to share what He has been teaching me through His Word, through prayer, and through the everyday moments that have transformed my walk with Him.
In this episode, I share the heart behind this podcast, why I finally said "yes" to God's calling, and what you can expect as we journey together through Scripture, honest conversations, and the lessons God teaches us when we surrender our own plans to His perfect timing.
If you've ever questioned God's timing, doubted your purpose, or felt like you've missed what He has for you, I want you to know this:
You are not alone.
My prayer is that this podcast becomes a place where you feel encouraged to slow down, open God's Word, and listen for His voice.
Because He already knows your heart.
So...
Just sit and listen.
