Tyler McCleary, Hamilton’s Citizen of the Year, is a driving force behind the city’s growth, connection, and momentum. As Director of Operations for both COhatch and Eyrie—the city’s newest cocktail bar—Tyler is helping shape not just where people work, but where they gather, celebrate, and connect. From innovative coworking spaces to elevated nightlife experiences, his impact is woven into the fabric of Hamilton’s evolving scene.
What sets Tyler apart isn’t just what he builds—it’s how he shows up. On his days off, you’ll find him with his twins, out in the community, supporting local businesses, attending events, and pouring right back into the city he loves so much. He doesn’t just talk about supporting local—he lives it every single day.
In this episode, we dive into the passion, purpose, and people-first mindset behind Tyler’s work, and why Hamilton continues to thrive because of leaders like him. #whatshotinhamilton

Come On Ride The LocalMotive
Tomorrow on What’s Hot in Hamilton, we’re spotlighting something seriously game-changing for the city — LocalMotive 🚐✨
If you haven’t heard of it yet, you’re about to be obsessed. LocalMotive isn’t your typical ride service — it’s a free, on-demand ride experience that feels more like stepping into a sleek, luxury shuttle than anything else. Think small, electric vehicles with a vibe that honestly feels like you just climbed into something straight out of a Jurassic Park tour — smooth, quiet, and surprisingly upscale inside.
They’ll pick you up and take you where you need to go around Hamilton — whether you’re out shopping, heading to dinner, bar hopping, or hitting up an event — and the best part? you don’t pay a dime.
LocalMotive is powered by the community, too. Local businesses support it through advertising on the vehicles, so while you ride, you’re also seeing and supporting the businesses that keep Hamilton moving.
With an easy-to-use app, website, and even a phone number to call, getting a ride is simple — and once you try it, you’ll wonder how you ever went without it.
Trust me… this isn’t just a ride. It’s an experience.
Tune in tomorrow — you’re gonna want to know about this. #whatshotinhamilton #localmotive #supportlocal #hamiltonohio
