She decided to get an MSW because of her passion for mental health and after noticing that a lot of the issues she dealt with stemmed from the fact that She wasn’t taking care of herself mentally. Mental health is something that is very foreign for a lot of people, including the Indian community, and she wanted to be the one to bridge that gap. She has been there for 10 months and counting.</p> <p>As a Communications Manager, she works as the communications bridge between our humanitarian work and our international headquarters. She helps write and share stories about the impact that the organization is able to make in a very depraved and broken country that is struggling to stand on its feet after years of war. This helps with providing accountability to our donors for their sacrificial giving.</p>
