Episode 53- CFL Hall of Famer Derrell "Mookie" Mitchell
<p> Chandler and David are joined this weekend by Derrell "Mookie" Mitchell. Mookie is was inducted in the CFL Hall of Fame in 2016, drafted by the New Orleans Saints, 11 year CFL Veteran. He was a 3 time CFL All-Star, 5 time CFL Eastern All-Star, CFL Most Outstanding Rookie and 2 time Grey Cup Champion. In 2023, Mookie was inducted as an All-Time Argo and currently holds 9th place on the all time CFL receiving yards list. With that impressive resume, Mookie still manage to top all of that with the record of most receptions in one season in professional football, 160. Which at the time was 37 more receptions than anyone in football history.The three of them discuss Mookie's playing days and his career as an overview, they talk about what it was like playing in Scotland and some of Mookie's favorite places to play in. How many teams still wouldn't beat the Dolphins 70 point game?
