   私たちは、地球に遊びに来た。 疲れた朝、ふとそのことを思い出しました。 2025年6月23日のポップアップに向けて、保護猫ちゃんへ無添加ごはんを届けるチャレンジが始まりました。 準備の56日間をInstagramリールで記録しながら、 日々の中で出会った "遊びの感覚" について、そっと語ります。 (書き起こし) こんにちは。 Whispers from the Kodama、 こだまラジオへようこそ。 nizuki Maiです。 今日は、 「遊び」 のお話をしようと思います。 「遊び」 私たちは地球に遊びに来た。 …そんなことを、思い出しました。ふふ 昨日から、新しくチャレンジを始めました。 2025年6月23日のポップアップで得た売上で、 保護猫ちゃんに無添加のご飯を届ける挑戦。 準備から当日までの56日間の様子を Instagramのリールで毎日少しずつ共有しています。 昨日は初日。 朝9時〜動き始めて 色々考えることも多くて、 動画を作るとか初めてのこともたくさんあって、 夜にはぐったり。 春。 新しいことを始めるあなたも、 新しい環境にいるあなたも、 きっと、 こんなふうに頑張っているんだろうなって思います。 そして今朝。 まだ疲れが残る身体で目が覚めた時、 ふと気づいたんです。 あ、そうだ。 「遊び」がなかったなって。 わたしは作品を作るとき、 遊びをとても大切にしています。 他の人から見たら、 ではなく、 自分が、 面白いか、楽しいか。 よく、 「楽しもうとする心が大事だ」 なんて言葉も聞きますよね。 たしかに、最初は無理にでも楽しもうとするのも、 トレーニングとしては、いいのかもしれません。 でも、ちょっとしんどい。 わたしも、かつては頑張って楽しもうとしていました。 もちろん、 それでも見えてくるものや 成長はあるんです。 …でも今、作品を作っている中で感じているのは、 もっと自然で、 もっと静かで、 でも確かにある「遊び」の感覚です。 それは、 大人ががんばって楽しむ“感じ”ではなくて、 ピュアに、自分の魂が「楽しい」と感じる一瞬を逃さない“感じ”。 大人の自分が出てきたときには、 そっと、無邪気な魂に戻るようにしてみる。 そうやって、 ただ目の前のことを、 面白おかしく、 笑って、 目の前のおもちゃで、 遊んでいく。 そうしていると、 気づけばそこに、 光り輝く作品や、 出会いや、 成果が現れている。 さぁ、今日も。 ワイワイと、 楽しく、 遊びましょ。 このラジオは、 アーティスト・作家として活動する nizuki Mai が、 日々の感覚、こだまの声、 詩や言葉を “音” で届けていく 静かな空間です。 夜に耳をすませたくなるような、 心の奥の風景と出会うような 時間をお届けします。

   A Morning to Remember Play｜Whispers from the Kodama - Ep.5

   We came to Earth to play. On a quiet morning, I remembered that. In this episode, I share reflections from day one of a 56-day challenge leading to my June 23rd popup— a journey to deliver healthy, additive-free meals to rescue cats. Through the daily rhythm of making, resting, and noticing, I rediscovered the spirit of play. (Transcription) Hello, Welcome to Whispers from the Kodama. This is nizuki Mai. Today, I’ll be sharing story “Play” "Play" We came to Earth to play. …That’s what I remembered today. Hehe. Starting yesterday, I’ve taken on a new challenge. From now until the popup on June 23rd, 2025, I’ll be sharing daily updates on Instagram Reels— a journey of 56 days leading up to that day. The goal? To deliver additive-free meals to rescue cats using the proceeds from the event. Yesterday was day one. I started at 9AM, tackled a lot of new things— like making a video for the first time— and by the end of the day, I was completely exhausted. It’s spring. If you’re starting something new, or finding yourself in a new environment, you might be feeling the same way—pushing forward with all your heart. This morning, I woke up still feeling tired. And then, it hit me. Ah, that’s right. I had forgotten to play. When I create something, I always hold onto a sense of play. Not “how it looks to others,” but “is this fun for me?” “Is it interesting to me?” We often hear, “It’s important to have a playful heart.” And yes, in the beginning, even forcing yourself to enjoy something can be a kind of training. But it can also be tiring. I used to try hard to enjoy things too. And sure— even then, I grew, and I discovered new things. But now, when I create, what I feel is something quieter. Something softer. A deeper sense of play. It’s not the “I’m trying to enjoy this” kind of play grown-ups often default to. It’s the kind of joy that comes from catching the tiny moment when your soul genuinely feels delight. And when that more serious side of me starts to show, I try to gently return to the innocent part of myself. In that state, I just let myself laugh, be curious, and play with what’s right in front of me— like a child with a toy. And then, before I know it, there it is— a radiant piece of work, a meaningful encounter, a quiet success. So, today too— let’s laugh a little, and play.
