Ep. 37 Biblical literacy guides us through seasons of waiting
SPECIAL EPISODE ALERT! The first half of this episode was recorded when I was very pregnant with my 4th child and the second half was recorded AFTER she was born!
Seasons of waiting in life can be incredibly challenging, but I believe they can produce great fruit in our lives if we learn to surrender them to the Lord. We are not guaranteed whatever we're waiting for, but what if the waiting season IS the outcome? What if that's the work God wants to do in your life while you relinquish control and lean into Him?
Tune in to hear my own struggles with waiting seasons (um, hello 8 days past my due date!?) and what God has been teaching me through this time.
*NOTE: the audio is a bit quiet on the second half because I recorded with my newborn sleeping on my lap!

Ep. 36 Biblical literacy leads to proper discipleship
The first place we should be creating disciples is within our home - as parents, it's our privilege and responsibility to disciple our children. The best way to do that is by being an example of a life lived for Christ. And the best way to do that, is to have a hunger for studying the Word.
The more we study and know the Word of God, the better we are able to impart a firm foundation of faith and critical thinking skills to our kids.
Tune in to hear some specific examples of how I've been doing this differently the last few years with my own kids as I've learned how to truly study the Word and work toward biblical literacy.

Ep. 35 Biblical literacy leads to confidence
As we continue through our series on Biblical Literacy, we dive into how our confidence builds the more we study the Word. When we learn more about who God is, our foundation of faith builds. Even more importantly, we remember that the God we read about is still the same God today - and that should give us confidence!
