In this episode, Muhan introduced some boring (or fun, whichever you call it) facts about Tony. Then, they spent most of the episode doing a quiz on all previous episodes, which is fun for audiences to review the content we covered before! The quiz is scheduled to take place right after Tony claimed himself the top listener and that he was going to drop out of the graduate program if he failed Muhan's quiz. Later in the episode, Muhan revealed the correct answers for each question, and Tony ended up getting 29% correct. The punishment for him failing the quiz is still in progress, but at least for now, no one dares to claim themselves as the top listener.
HST: Tony asked too many questions, so I do not exactly remember, and I'm too lazy to jot down everything, so I'll just put it here this way and let the audience figure out on their own.

EP08 - Matthew [E]
In this episode, Muhan revealed some weird food combos she liked, and Matthew revealed how his relationship with his fiancée Kayla-the-Matthew's-goddess and his rationale behind being a vegetarian. Both of them also talked about how they are at opposite ends of the Big Five, and about their past interest in counselling psychology.
Lottery Box: Matthew described himself as a golden retriever, and he wanted Muhan to host a Chinese food night.
HST: Muhan, despite everything that had happened before, overshared again on her toxic point of view in romantic relationships, and admitted that it might probably be due to her previous experiences with all the dumbasses out there. Then, Matthew, with an openness of 2, encouraged Muhan to look optimistically and keep an open eye when it comes to people (not on food, of course). Muhan also wishes to have an idea of when, where, and how she would die if she had a crystal ball and could do fortune-telling.
It was a meaningful HST. Although there were only two questions and the discussion was low-key serious that made me feel down, I very much appreciated it and should probably give a second thought to some of the rationale I brought up.

EP07 - Ariya [E]
In this special episode, Muhan went back to Vancouver to attend Ariya's graduation and had the podcast recorded in the basement of her college library with Ariya! (Sadly, Muhan forgot to bring her mics, so her apologies for the voice quality)
Muhan introduced everything about Ariya, from her psych research background, to housing coops, to her Thai nationality and Chinese-related fun facts, and to her highly preferred dating criteria in men - (a) Thai; (b) tall: 180+ cm / 5' 11''; (c) family oriented and from a collectivistic culture; and (d) have some conscientiousness, but not too much or too little. Muhan also revealed all sorts of activities they did together back in college, and forced Ariya once (maybe twice or three times) again to visit her in the States. She almost made another public apology to Ariya.
HST: Ariya did the fun game, Would You Rather, with Muhan and asked so many good questions that got Muhan there...She knows the host too well! Also, since Muhan is too indecisive, simply playing WYR is already torture....

EP06 - Walter [E]
In this episode, Muhan revisited how she met Walter and asked him a series of questions about his academic background. Muhan also forced him to help her schedule a karaoke session with his girlfriend soon - the Top 1 Canada-wide Sabrina Carpenter cosplayer. Then, Walter revealed some funny stories and random details about their relationship. Lastly, Walter gave Muhan a very brief ADHD shortened test for fun. Muhan also made two public apologies, but she just realized she should probably not turn this public apology thing into a routine on her podcast.
HST: Muhan was pranked by Walter's all sorts of meme questions. Then, they discussed Muhan's hobbies, academic path to quant psych, extraversion level, and the reason why Muhan does not make friends with others easily.

EP03 - Galileo [EM]
FYI: EM does not refer to the EM algorithm, but 2/3 English and 1/3 Mandarin instead.
In this episode, Muhan argued that Galileo, along with his beloved car, wife (whichever comes first), and his own style of rizz, are outliers in various ways and settings. During the discussion, they also went over some backstories about Muhan’s inference homework that drained Galileo’s brain, their car rides offered to each other, Galileo’s flight experience, the solulu to Muhan’s drinking limit, and the famous Guangdong provincial soup from Galileo’s hometown.
A pop quiz from Muhan for all quant psych/statistics lovers: Explain Mahalanobis distance and how it relates to Minho.
Mandarin Corner: Galileo promoted the food from his hometown, Shunde (seon6 dak1), as well as his go-to desserts. He also tried very hard to make Muhan speak Cantonese in this episode, but we all know that is not going to happen. Muhan shared the latest story about her broken language system and decided that she is going to speak Mandarin and English separately, just like 干湿分离 in a bathroom. They also discussed about writing in Chinese and English.

EP02 - Ayun [E]
In this episode, Ayun talked about how her trip to North Korea tied into the story behind her name, and Muhan kicked off another random Mandarin lesson on nickname convention by sharing the Chinese nickname she and Jiatong gave to Ayun. Then, Muhan started her long-a**, non-mathematical and non-statistical proof of why Ayun is such a party person who made Muhan break a lot of her habits. During the proof, they also revealed some backstory about their birthday celebration. Throughout this episode, Muhan had to remind her audience three times that Ayun and Anna are mostly straight. Lastly, they revisited their drinking day tradition, and Muhan finally made her public apology to Walton and his dear friend Jack.
