Why Do I Do That? Understanding the OCD Loop

In this episode, Brady joins the show to ask a deceptively simple question: “Why do I do that?”  What unfolds is an honest and deeply personal conversation about obsessive thoughts, compulsions, and the OCD loop that shows up in more areas of life than we often realize. Brady shares his lived experience, the patterns he found himself stuck in, and the powerful realizations that began to shift his awareness. Together, we explore the importance of self-inquiry, understanding the “why” behind our behaviors, and how awareness can become the first step toward growth, healing, and real change. A courageous and relatable episode for anyone navigating mental health, self-awareness, or the journey of personal growth. Anxiety! : This is Where Real Relief Starts

This is the anxiety episode you’ve all been waiting for. What is anxiety, really? And why does it seem to get worse the harder we try to make it go away? As clinicians, we see far too many people who arrive exhausted—having tried every technique, strategy, and mindset shift yet still feeling trapped in fear. In this episode, we start where real healing begins: understanding anxiety at its root. Are we destined to live with anxiety forever? Does it truly “never go away”? The answer may surprise you. Relief is possible—but only when we treat anxiety in the right way. Cognitive tools don’t work for somatic responses, and somatic approaches won’t resolve cognitive patterns. Effective treatment requires knowing what you’re dealing with and using the right tools for the job. This episode breaks down why a one-size-fits-all approach fails and why working with a clinician who has an eclectic, informed, and flexible approach can be life-changing. From People-Pleasing to Power: Understanding the Cycle That Holds Women Back

In this episode, I sit down with Elaine Belson, LCSW, a seasoned therapist, mindset mentor, and emotional wellness coach who specializes in helping women shift out of automatic negative thinking and into calmer, more empowering internal dialogue. With decades of experience in understanding human behavior, emotional patterns, and communication, Elaine blends clinical depth with the practical, future-focused tools of coaching. Together, we explore the complex dynamics of women’s empowerment, especially for those who naturally take on the roles of caretakers and empaths. We dive into why so many women feel compelled to prioritize the needs of others, sometimes at the cost of our own well-being, and how early conditioning and emotional patterns can quietly shape these habits. Elaine shares actionable insights for recognizing these cycles, reclaiming emotional space, and building a healthier, more compassionate relationship with ourselves. If you’ve ever struggled with overgiving, self-criticism, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotional landscape, this conversation offers both clarity and hope. Tune in to learn how to shift your mindset, rewrite old narratives, and step into a more grounded, empowered version of yourself. Contact Elaine Belson here - https://www.elainebelson.com/
