Nick, Nico, Zakk and Adam are on a mission to watch the most crazy, bizarre and unapologetically horrible content ever produced. Each week, the four friends check out a movie or TV show you’ve probably never heard of and talk about it in intense, thought-provoking detail. Sometimes it’s weird. Sometimes it’s philosophical. But it’s always hilarious as they try to answer the question: “Why is This a Thing?”
On the landmark 400th(!) episode of WiTaT, Nick, Nico and Adam make their annual yuletide trip to the Netflix Christmas Universe and watch the Alicia Silverstone vehicle A Merry Little Ex-Mas.

War of the Worlds (2025)
IT'S YOU! IT'S YOU! Yes, indeed. With the release of a new contender for Worst Movie of All Time, Nick, Nico and Adam were forced to declare DEFCON1 and reconvene Why is This a Thing. Ice Cube stars in a screenlife adaptation of H.G. Wells's War of the Worlds, a film that is so poorly written acted you almost (ALMOST) don't notice the excessive amount of product placement for Amazon's drone delivery service. Fear not, we watched and recapped this monstrosity so you don't have to. Consider this a Podcast of the Worlds to save humanity.

Materialists (2025)
Nick, Nico and new father Adam return to the airwaves to catch up on their movie watching and resurrect the Dave Draft from a three-year hiatus. Then, they stumble into a review of the confounding pseudo-rom-com Materialists, directed by Celine Song.
