9. What does it mean to be Doxxed?
<p>Being doxxed connects your virtual identity with a government identity, which shows skin in the game to supporters of your web3 project</p> <p>Within the web3 industry by some measures as many as 2 in 10 projects end in “rug pulls” meaning that leaders of the project intentionally sabotage it and run away with the money leaving investors with nothing. Founders of a project getting “doxxed” is a valuable tool to prevent this.</p> <p>In this short video Miami Folk Hero and public figure Captain Haiti talks to us about how web3 business owners can establish themselves with a public identity and an address to show that they are legitimate.
